Key Highlights:
The INSAIT JOY Smart Basketball is a full-size ball with motion sensors built into the core. It measures 74.9 to 76.2 cm round and weighs 600 to 650 g. It pairs with the free JOY Basketball app on iPhone and Android, and the app records every session you play.
The app has four training modes. Skill Training covers dribbling and ball-handling drills. Shooting mode gives feedback on every shot. Hit-the-Beat has you dribbling in time with music, and Superstar Challenge strings combined moves together into one scored sequence. During training the app logs made shots, shot angle and ball spin, so you can follow your numbers from one week to the next.
The Vlog feature films you through your phone while you train and puts your scores in the same video. There is no subscription fee. A full charge on the wireless base lasts up to 7 hours of play.
For players who train on their own and want to see whether the work is paying off.
Check the app on your phone before you order: JOY Basketball on the App Store (iOS 12 or later) or Joy Basketball on Google Play.
